US broker-dealer Pali Capital has started consultations with staff at its institutional research and sales divisions - which includes veteran retail analyst Nick Bubb - as it looks to restructure its international operations.

In Europe, Pali is to focus on its strategy and derivatives businesses as well as M&A and events- driven sales and trading, with about 40 employees.
