MIDDLE EAST At least eight Palestinians were killed and scores injured during violent clashes in the Gaza Strip. The fighting between the Islamist Hamas group and their Fatah opponents that started on Monday and continued on Tuesday.
It was the worst outbreak of violence between the two groups since early November, when Hamas and Fatah fought street battles in Gaza City that claimed seven lives.
