Stobart takes to the skies

Stobart Group, the haulage company that reversed into listed property development company Westbury last September, is planning an expansion of rail, air and ship services to complement its trucking business.

Andrew Tinkler, chief executive, said plans to move its headquarters in Carlisle from five premises to a single planned site at Carlisle Airport would improve efficiency in the core Eddie Stobart road haulage business.
