Baseball stars named in steroid use report

Some of the biggest stars in baseball were named on Thursday in a report on steroid use and other forms of doping by George Mitchell, a former US senator.

The long-awaited report painted a dark picture of the past 13 years in the world’s most-attended national sport league, accusing current and former players in connection with steroid use, including Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Barry Bonds, Miguel Tejada, and Eric Gagne.
