Catastrophes help sector's latest top dog come to the fore

Until now, the best-known canines in insurance have been Churchill's nodding dog, and Lucky, the mutt best known for surviving a series of scrapes in RSA Insurance's ads.

But Lancashire, the London-listed Bermuda registered speciality insurer is putting another dog on the insurance industry map.
