BT Group, British Sky Broadcasting and Carphone Warehouse are all considering offers for the UK arm of Tiscali, the Italian telecommunications company that was effectively put up for sale this week.
The Cagliari-based company appointed JPMorgan and Banca IMI as financial advisers on Monday after the board allowed Mario Rosso, the new chief executive, to find ways of "maximising the strategic value" of Tiscali.
