BAA appeals against order to sell airports

BAA launched an appeal Monday night to try to halt the break-up of the group that controls Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.

It said it was applying to the Competition Appeal Tribunal to review the order by the Competition Commission two months ago forcing it to sell three of its seven UK airports within two years.
