Sir, Richard Waters provided a refreshingly honest examination of the changing landscape of the software industry ("The end of the software gravy train", August 28). However, I was disappointed that he neglected to examine the technical and legislation issues facing software as a service (Saas) and new models of deployment addressing the challenges he does discuss.
