GSK shake-up aims to speed medicines

GlaxoSmithKline, the world’s second-biggest pharmaceutical company, aims to speed up the development of medicines by shaking up its research and development effort.

The drugs group plans to expand external partnerships and reduce the number of experiments it applies during drug development.
