Airline chiefs to battle for UK/India traffic rights

Rod Eddington, Sir Richard Branson and Sir Michael Bishop, the leading lights of the UK airline industry, are going into head-to-head battle on Thursday to win lucrative additional traffic rights to serve the UK/India market.

They will be the leading witnesses respectively for British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and BMI British Midland at the most complex scarce capacity hearing staged by the Civil Aviation Authority for more than a decade.
