India’s oldest exchange gets new blood

In his first 100 days at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Madhu Kannan has not wasted time in stamping his mark on India’s oldest bourse.

Mr Kannan, who at 37 is the exchange’s youngest chief executive, has been doing the rounds of the BSE’s headquarters in the Fort district of Mumbai to try to gauge how best to approach turning round the fortunes of the BSE.
