Someone had to do it. On Monday Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal became the first person in the world to sign on the dotted line for the ultimate status symbol. He bought an A380 superjumbo – the world’s biggest commercial aircraft – as his own personal jet.
Prince Alwaleed, ranked by Forbes magazine as the 13th richest person in the world, flew into the Dubai Airshow in his private Boeing 747.
