As the grim details of the battles that raged in the Taj and Trident-Oberoi luxury hotels began to emerge over the weekend, the owners of both five-star complexes revealed that the unpreparedness of the security forces had contributed to the tragedies.
The revelations are particularly inflammatory in a city that only two years ago was the scene of what was previously the country’s worst terrorist attack – the assaults on the financial capital’s commuter railways that left 180 people dead.
