Tesco is marching further into the mobile and wi-fi business by doubling the number of in-store telecommunications centres to 80 or more by the year’s end.

Its push in the sector poses a threat to Carphone Warehouse and retail chains of the mobile networks and comes as Tesco opens a number of in-store banks.
