Eurozone slowdown gradual, says survey

The eurozone’s economic slowdown is still only gradual, according to a closely-watched survey that showed growth has remained stable this month.

The latest purchasing managers’ index for the 15-country region edged slightly higher, from 51.8 in March to 51.9 in April, suggesting that in contrast to the US there had been no dramatic deterioration in economic outlook.
