US warns N Korea that it still faces isolation

The Obama administration insisted on Wednesday that North Korea still faced isolation even as it emerged that the White House was deeply involved in Bill Clinton’s trip to Pyongyang this week, which secured the release of two US journalists.

Hillary Clinton, US secretary of state, said North Korea still faced a choice between entering into international negotiations on its nuclear programme or “a path that is filled with provocative actions which further isolates them from the international community”.
