Blue Oar to refocus under Astaire banner

Blue Oar, the boutique investment bank that ousted its chief executive after its takeover in December, is now ditching its name as it refocuses on institutional stockbroking and private client asset management.

After the shareholder meeting in June, the company will trade as Astaire, the name of a 49-year-old institutional brokerage that it bought last May.
