Siemens and Vattenfall exit Chinese power plant

Siemens and Vattenfall have agreed to sell their stakes in a Chinese power station to a group of investors after falling profitability.

Siemens, the German engineering conglomerate, and Vattenfall, the Swedish energy company, have disposed of 40 per cent of the Hanfeng coal-fired plant to China Huaneng Group and the CITIC investment holding company.
