World Bank sees signs of LatAm bounceback

Latin America is showing early signs of emerging from the global economic crisis, although any recovery is likely to be “slow” and “unsynchronised”, according to the World Bank.

“The worst case scenarios for the region are dissipating, although that doesn’t necessary guarantee a strong rebound”, says Augusto de la Torre, the World Bank’s chief economist for the region.
