North Korea probably has one or two nuclear weapons and a stockpile of up to 3,000 tons of chemical and biological weapons, a South Korean defence white paper said yesterday.
Pyongyang has also established a missile department within the army and has increased its artillery by about 1,000 weapons in the past four years, the paper said. The news, coming amid claims that North Korea has exported uranium to Libya, is likely to alarm the international community.
