Higgs suggests 'lite' rule regime for Aim

Tougher corporate governance rules should eventually apply to companies owned by private equity investors or listed on Aim, according to Sir Derek Higgs, nemesis of cosy boardroom practices.

Sir Derek, whose controversial Higgs Report tightened guidelines followed by big listed companies, suggested a "Higgs lite" regime could cover Aim business.
