BBC to sell non-core facilities subsidiary

The BBC is selling its studio facilities, including cameras at Elstree, home to soap operas EastEnders and Holby City, in the public service broadcaster’s latest effort to cut costs.

The Corporation is inviting bids on Thursday for BBC Resources, a commercial subsidiary that includes its outside broadcast facilities and post-production suites.
