Giuliani falls behind in Florida polls

Rudy Giuliani faces a desperate battle to resuscitate his presidential campaign over the weekend as polls show him falling behind John McCain and Mitt Romney in Florida, which holds a potentially critical Republican primary next Tuesday.

The former mayor of New York took an unprecedented gamble by largely ignoring earlier contests in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina and focusing instead on Florida and the 22 states that vote on Super Tuesday a week later.
