Notts County adds to the mystery

Since July 14 when a group of Middle East-based businessmen bought Notts County, the League Two football club has been a hive of activity.

The takeover has been investigated by the Football League, the club sacked its manager, signed ex-England defender Sol Campbell – who quit after one game – and denied that its football director, Sven-Göran Eriksson, former England coach, was off to coach North Korea in the World Cup.
