Manzoni quits BP for Canadian oil group

John Manzoni, once seen as a successor to Lord Browne as BP chief executive, is stepping down as the UK oil group’s head of refining and marketing to become head of Talisman Energy, the Canadian oil group.

He will be replaced by Iain Conn, whose responsibilities at BP now include the Asia-Pacific, Africa and European regions as well as safety, operations and human resources.
