Family wins case to force CPS review of son's death at work

Prosecutors will have to reconsider their decision not to bring manslaughter charges against the employers of a building labourer killed on site, following a High Court ruling yesterday.

The family of the dead man - Daniel Dennis, 17, a labourer - had launched a rare legal challenge to the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service not to pursue a "gross negligence" corporate manslaughter case.
