Business leaders call for less EU red tape

The five largest British business organisations will today gather in Brussels to urge the new European commissioners to halt the tide of employment red tape heading to the UK.

The British Chambers of Commerce will deliver a survey of 1,200 members, most of whom say jobs will be lost and costs increased because of European laws proposing new rights for temporary workers.
