GWR investors kept in the dark

Shares in GWR fell 9 per cent yesterday as investors remained in the dark about whether its proposed merger with Capital Radio is supported by Daily Mail & General Trust, GWR's largest shareholder.

The share price fall comes three days after both broadcasters presented their plans to DMGT, which owns 29.9 per cent of GWR and is therefore crucial to the union's success.
