Rail services in the south-east slowly returned to normal on Tuesday, although there were continuing problems with lines between London and the south-east. Southern, Southeastern and South West Trains services were still severely disrupted on Tuesday evening, but the situation was expected to improve on Wednesday.
Network Rail is now concentrating on opening secondary routes throughout the south-east to ensure a full network is available during the course of the day. Four Eurostar services have been cancelled on Wednesday.
