Companies paying larger share of tax bill, says OECD

Companies are paying a larger share of the tax raised by industrialised countries than at any time since the 1960s, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development said on Wednesday.

Over the past decade, the average share of corporate income tax in the tax mix has increased by more than one percentage point to reach the 9 per cent level of the 1960s.
