Trinity Mirror reassures as paper revenues fall

Trinity Mirror sought to reassure investors after the regional and national newspaper publisher said advertising revenues fell 2.4 per cent in the first four months of the year.

The owner of the Mirror stable of newspapers said: “We continue to expect advertising market conditions to stabilise during the year with the rate of decline slowing.”
