All right. It was a bit of a stretch. That corkscrew landing in Bosnia under sniper fire was not quite how Hillary Clinton remembered it. In fact, it did not happen that way at all. Quite simply, she "misspoke". But, she rejoined tartly, "it proves I'm human - which for some people is a revelation".
Relieved as we all no doubt are that the former US first lady and formidable candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination tells tall tales like the rest of humanity, we should pay a bit of attention to exactly what she is embellishing.
