Pension funds: Believers drive the market ever onward

When it comes to pension saving, the aftershocks of the last stock market decline have produced an alarming consequence among the public - an aversion to shares and an almost fanatical belief that property can deliver marvellous returns forever.

Property prices have sharply increased in many countries in the past five years, encouraging many to think the trend will continue forever.
