Clinton fronts drive for Rwandan clinics

Former US president Bill Clinton hopes to raise funding to reproduce across Rwanda a network of low-cost health clinics likely to cost $80m (€63.8m, £44m) a year.

The aim is to replicate the success of a pilot clinic in the Rwandan district of Rwinkwavu run by Partners in Health, a charity originally launched in Haiti by Paul Farmer, a US doctor, and supported by the Clinton Foundation.
