Fresh from this year's acrimonious battle over the fate of Moss Bros, two members of one of the company's founding families are back in the men's wear business.

Michael Gee , a former Moss Bros director and scion of the Cecil Gee dynasty that formed the current company, has set up Centanni in Canary Wharf with his brother Nige l. They are joined by Peter Done , a former senior buyer at Moss Bros. "I gave him [Done] his first job at Cecil Gee in Knightsbridge behind the shirt counter at £12 a week," remembers Michael Gee. The test of opening a suits shop in London's financial district in the wake of the credit crunch is nothing compared with serving on the divided Moss Bros board while being besieged by Iceland's Baugur.
