India’s new government is eager to resume the Doha round of world trade talks, according to the country’s new minister for commerce and industry.

In his first interview with an international paper since he took up the ministerial post, Anand Sharma told the FT that India was keen to break the impasse in negotiations “to take the process to its logical conclusion”.
