Vow to take legal action on power station

Ministers were on Tuesday threatened with legal action if they refused to order a public inquiry into a controversial application to build a coal-fired power station.

The threat of an application for a judicial review is the latest phase in a lobbying campaign by green groups against a contentious proposal by Eon UK to replace its Kingsnorth power station in Medway, Kent.
