Aggreko buoyed by international demand

Aggreko, the world’s leading supplier of back-up power generators, predicted a rise of 53 per cent in pre-tax profits for the year as continued storm damage in the US and demand for rapid electricity supply in emerging markets buoyed demand.

The company admitted in its trading statement that it would be unlikely to defy the economic headwinds in North America and Europe indefinitely.
