Nomura tumbles on concern over $5.6bn issue

Nomura on Friday suffered the biggest daily fall in its share price in more than 30 years, reflecting investor anxiety over the large dilution that would result from its forthcoming Y511bn ($5.6bn) new share issue.

Japan’s biggest securities group saw its shares tumble 16 per cent to Y573 .
