Deutsche Bank finds four cases of surveillance

Deutsche Bank on Wednesday admitted it had been involved in four cases of surveillance activities, some of which are being investigated for breaches of privacy laws, but said none of its top executives had any role.

Releasing the results of an investigation it commissioned from a law firm into the series of spying incidents that have dogged the bank in recent weeks, Deutsche said they arose from work done by “external service providers” hired by its corporate security department.
