A £20m house has been repossessed in London’s chic borough of Mayfair, in a sign that any recovery in the market is fragile, writes Sharlene Goff.

Hamptons International, which is a joint agent for the property with Sotheby’s, said it was the most expensive repossession it had ever seen.
