Production problems plague Boeing

Even if the world were not mired in a global economic downturn, Boeing would be in trouble.

The world’s second-largest aircraft-maker has been hit by production problems in the past few months. Commercial aircraft manufacturing was shut down for most of September and October due to a machinists’ strike. It took the company, led by Jim McNerney, another month to resume full production.
