FSA proposes shorter timetable for rights issues

The Financial Services Authority on Monday proposed a shortened timetable for rights issues after a series of issues flopped last year.

Market participants are being asked to comment on the plan, which follows recommendations made by the Rights Issue Review Group to the UK government last November.
