Uruguayan pulp mill riles Argentines

Residents of the Argentine town of Gualegauychu staged their boldest demonstration in months on Sunday against a Uruguayan pulp mill whose construction has seriously damaged relations between the two countries.

The mill is days away from starting production and years of protests have failed to persuade the mill’s Finnish owners, Botnia, to move to another location.
