Shipping chief wants anti-trust easing

One of container shipping’s most respected executives has joined growing calls for a relaxation of the industry’s anti-trust regulations to speed up the trimming of its vast over-capacity.

CC Tung, chief executive of Hong Kong’s Orient Overseas International (OOIL), makes the call in an article being submitted to several publications worldwide to mark the 60th anniversary of China’s Communist revolution this week.
