Mary Chris Gay, co-manager of the Legg Mason Value fund, has stated that the recent rally in equity markets is the start of a new bull market.

Ms Gay, who runs the $7.6bn (£5bn, €5.6bn) fund with Bill Miller, said the market ebulliance it is not just a strong bear market rally.
