Abu Dhabi and Qatar have teamed up to launch a $2bn investment fund, the latest in a string of joint funds set up by the sovereign wealth funds of the energy-rich Middle East.
The agreement between Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Investment Company and Qatar Investment Authority was signed in Abu Dhabi during a visit by Qatar's emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
