Sir, The headline on John Lloyd's commentary (October 21/22) is right in claiming that "a growing gulf sets young Muslims at odds with society" in the west, but not for the reasons he ascribes, including moral decay and female sensuality. Those topics have long been the preserve of Muslim fundamentalists everywhere.
