Sheffield United to quit Aim

Sheffield United joined the ranks of football clubs to abandon their City listings by announcing it would quit Aim.

The Championship club, 75 per cent owned by Kevin McCabe, the property developer, said it was not immune from the decline in stock market values and that volatility in its share price was not benefiting the business.
