Sovereign CDS trades move to Europe

Investors are increasingly trading credit default swaps of west European countries, while emerging market ­volumes fall in a sign of changing attitudes towards risk.

CDS, which are used to insure bonds against default, are considered one of the best investment tools to hedge against risk.
